WWW Wednesday - September 23

September 23, 2020

WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words.

The three W’s stand for:

What did you recently finish reading?
What are you currently reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

I'm still not out of my book slump. I've gotten super frustrated with this and have decided to pick up either an old favorite (or a new one by a favorite author) to help cure me of this. I was fortunate enough to get some reading done, but they didn't help me 😭😭

What I've read

Fire Fury Faith by N.D. Jones * A Sinful Encore by Lisa Renee Jones * His Girl by Aria Cole * Making Christmas Magic by Rachel Carrington

What I'm reading

Dark Prince by Christine Feehan -- the first book of her Dark paranormal series. I've made a lot of headway in this book, finally half done. I hope to finish it by the end of the week. This book slump SUCKS!!

What I plan to read

I'm not planning my next read because for two weeks now, I haven't stuck to the plan. So I'll see where the wind blows me.

What are you reading right now? Tell me below or leave me a link so I can check out your post.

Happy Reading! xo

  2. Oh no! I hope you're out of your reading slump very soon. I'm not sure if you like to watch Booktube videos but I always found watching reading vlogs got me in the mood to read when I was in a slump <3

  3. I hate it when I'm in a slump, because usually at the same time I have no desire to binge-watch TV, either, and since I'm a homebody, that leaves doing laundry and dishes as something to do. ;-) Here's this week's WWW: https://bargainsleuth2010.wordpress.com/2020/09/23/www-wednesday-september-twenty-third/

  4. I think a plan of not planning, but following the wind sounds good. That whimsical approach often turns out well. Thanks for sharing...and for visiting my blog.

    1. I usually feel bad too because I like having at least a tentative plan to keep myself on task. Ah well, it can't be forced.

  12. His Girl looks like it would be a fun, steamy read.

  13. Book slumps suck. I feel like I've dealt with one for most of this fucked up year. Lol I hope things turn around for you soon, babe! ♡

  14. I definitely feel that "not planning" thing. While I've been reading this month, it's been almost exclusively things I haven't planned (library books!) and I'm enjoying it. For the next two months, I have a huge master list of spooky/creepy/dark books I want to read but I'm just going to randomly select those and see where it goes.

  15. Sorry to hear you're still not quite out of your reading slump, Natalie. I can sympathise as I am struggling to read as I am too tired most evenings. I hope our reading picks up for both of us soon! 🤞🙏😃
