WWW Wednesday - September 9

September 09, 2020

WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words.

The three W’s stand for:

What did you recently finish reading?
What are you currently reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

This was a decent reading week for me. I read some ARCs and I also got the chance to dive into some books on my TBR. Winning! So here's what I read:

First and Forever by Jay McLean - still working on the review for this one. It was angsty as hell!
The Princess Knight by G.A. Aiken - I read it already, but finally posted a review. A hilarious fantasy read and deserved all the stars!
Burning Ash by N.J. Walters - can this author write anything but awesomeness? Another 5-star read!!
Dark Challenge by Christine Feehan - YAY to knocking a book off my to-read list
Truth, Lies and Second Dates by MaryJanice Davidson - a hilarious whodunit

I'm actually reading a few books right now...

Bad Choices & Heartaches by Casey Diam - this author writes some sweet small town romance
Leopard's Blood | Dark Prince | Shadow Reaper by Christine Feehan - I'm really determined to make my way through her backlist

• ────── ✾ ────── •

So what am I reading next? One of these...

The Aeronaut's Windlass by Jim Butcher - I hope I enjoy this read as much as everyone's told me I will
Wonder Woman: Warbringer by Leigh Bardugo - I've wanted to start this series for forever!
Batman: Nightwalker by Marie Lu - same as above. And it's due back at the library soon so I should really hop to it

What are you reading right now? Tell me below or leave me a link so I can check out your post.

Happy Reading! xo

    1. OMG!! I loved and hated it so much. It gave me major hangover vibes and I had to read something different to bring me back to life :)

  4. I love the idea of a humorous fantasy novel - it's nice to have some comic relief scenes with everything else that goes on in fantasy. Happy reading!

  5. Oh, I hope you like the Wonder Woman one, if you get to it. I liked it but I'm obsessed with WW. I know that it has some kind of mixed reviews. Glad you had a great week and I hope this next week is great for you too! Happy reading!

    1. Thank you, Leslie! Mixed reviews hardly ever sway me, unless there's a trigger that I'd like to avoid. I love WW too so I'm looking forward to this take on this Amazonian goddess :)

  6. Oooh, Jim Butcher! I need to pick up his series at some point. It seems like everyone loves them, but I haven't given them a go yet. I hope you enjoy it as much as everyone says you will. :P

    1. Fingers crossed, hon! It's a HUGE book -- 630 pages. I'm definitely going to have to renew this one at the library lol
