The Ten Authors I’ve Read the Most Books By

July 07, 2020

Welcome to another Top Ten Tuesday! This week's prompt was extremely hard for me. When I find an author I love, I tend to try to get my hands on everything they've ever written. So there are way more than 10 authors that I've got an extremely long list of reads for. The following authors happened to have the most books from me in the 'read' column so without further ado, here they are!

Bethany Kris

I discovered her work when I picked up a copy of Deathless & Divided. Through her, I learned what I have come to love in mafia romances. To me, she is the queen of mafia romance and while she does branch out to write other things, her mafia characters are some of my most favorite book boyfriends!

Callie Hart

I absolutely fell in love with her Blood & Roses series. Zeth Mayfair is the epitome of what an anti-hero book boyfriend looks like! This series is dark and dangerous and delicious and I think it's time for me to do a re-read.

Crimson Syn

From the moment that she asked me to read an ARC of her book, Wolf, I knew that she was an author to watch. Her Hellbound Lovers MC series is one part MC romance and one part scrumptious smut. They're erotic and suspenseful and guaranteed entertaining reads!

Jessica Gadziala

I first read Monster. Then I found Killer. And I realized pretty quickly that I loved this author's writing. I recently discovered that she has a reading order that covers many of her series, with characters and plots making multiple appearances. It all happens in a town called Navesink and I plan to read all of them!

K. Webster

The first read I picked up from this author was Dirty Ugly Toy and I fell in love with this author's mind. Whether it's dark romance, forbidden romance, m/m romance, contemporary, or taboo, this author knows what the heck she's doing. I'm always given a stellar read and I can't get enough of the twists and turns she comes up with. This woman knows how to test my boundaries and I adore the chance to dip my toe in the deep end. She's really made me love banned books!

Lani Lynn Vale

LLV gives me reads full of heart and characters I can't help wanting to know. Many of her stories have a suspenseful element to them, but the core of all of them is love. There's love between the protagonists, love for their friends and families, big and small moments, and guaranteed happy endings. Her books are some of my go-tos when I'm deep in a book funk.

Lisa Renee Jones

I remember requesting a book recommendation and that the story had to be a romance with an edge to it. I didn't want something cozy and comfortable. It had to push me a bit. One of the responses was LRJ's Inside Out series and I have no regrets. I've read so many of her books, it's a little ridiculous. One of my favorite series from her is Dirty Money. It kept me guessing and while I figured I'd be getting a happy ending (eventually), I didn't have a clue what it would look like. And I loved it!

N. Isabelle Blanco

This woman... this beautiful, funny, creative, awe-inspiring woman... LOVE HER!! From erotic romance, PNR, thriller, etc. She's tried it all and she's blown me away each and every time! I discovered her work through her Voyeur series (a collab with another great author, Elena M. Reyes) and the rest was history. The fact that she's a beautiful person doesn't hurt.

Penny Reid

When I'm looking for a laugh, I don't really look any further than who I've deemed as one of the Queens of romantic comedy. I thought her Knitting in the City series was hilarious... until I started her Winston Brothers series. Those men are a riot and if you're looking for a laugh, you don't need to look any further than Penny Reid.

Pepper Winters

She is one of the greatest minds that have created dark romance that I've ever read. From the Monsters in the Dark series (delectable Q) and the Indebted Series (sweet Jethro) to her contemporary romances such as her Ribbon Duet, this author continues to dazzle and astound. I've recently finished her latest romance series, Goddess Isles, and it was dark and tasty and and delicious. I don't care what she writes, I'm there for it.

Have any of these authors made it to your list? Which author have you read from the most?

    1. That actually makes complete sense. With the amount of genres and authors out there, both indie and traditionally published, you won't ever have to stop.

I hope you continue to have a great time exploring new authors and finding amazing reads! xo
