About the Book
Waking up in the hospital after a terrible car crash, Lila has a long road of recovery ahead of her. More than just her body, she must recover her heart after an altering declaration by Nathan.

With all that happened between them she must chose to forgive him and take him back, or sever all ties. Nathan has a hard road ahead of him to earn back her trust, and doing so will open her up to the possibility of being hurt again. A possibility Lila doesn’t think she can survive.

The secrets Nathan keeps buried, hidden from the world, of the life he used to lead are revealed. They tell the horror of what caused the scars on his body, mind, and heart.

Can Lila and Nathan push through all of the obstacles in front of them? Will the journey be their healing, or their destruction?

My Review

★★★★✩

In Breach, we were introduced to the erotic fling between Nathan and Delilah. Their emotions became entangled, but their traumatic pasts were hard to overcome. Being together meant knocking down some walls and while Delilah had a wrecking ball ready, Nathan was too afraid to take the leap. In Infraction, we got to deal with all of the anguish these characters were dealing with, hoping and praying they would find a way to cope and be together.

My heart broke for Nathan. I think the author did a remarkable job of capturing his anxiety, his pain, his doubts and insecurities, and his desolation. This man was broken in so many ways. His scars carved deep. His whole life imploded and he was having trouble picking up the pieces. And then there's Lila, who is so far from okay that her mask is cracking. She's been inured to believe that she is worthless by the people who were supposed to love and care for her, abused physically and emotionally, and she's damaged in ways that can't be seen. I loved how the author illustrated her trauma without making it seem repetitive. It was easy to see her as a victim and I was urging her to become a survivor. I think after facing off with one of her attackers, she will now be on the road to becoming one.

I'm looking forward to the fallout from the confrontation at the end. I'm sure the trial will bring up even more pain for Lila and I'm so happy that Nathan seems to be stronger than ever. He'll be there to bolster her and support her as needed. There's still two more books and I wonder what the author will throw at us next.

About the Author
K.I. Lynn is the USA Today Bestselling Author from The Bend Anthology, Amazon Bestseller Becoming Mrs. Lockwood, and the Amazon Bestselling Series, Breach. She spent her life in the arts, everything from music to painting and ceramics, then to writing. Characters have always run around in her head, acting out their stories, but it wasn't until later in life she would put them to pen. It would turn out to be the one thing she was really passionate about.

Since she began posting stories online, she's garnered acclaim for her diverse stories and hard hitting writing style. Two stories and characters are never the same, her brain moving through different ideas faster than she can write them down as it also plots its quest for world domination...or cheese. Whichever is easier to obtain... Usually it's cheese.
