June 2023 Bookish Recap

July 05, 2023

Hello hello and welcome to another recap!

Can I tell you how surprised I am by not only how much I read in June, but how many of those books were worthy of all the stars??? Why can't every month be like this? I'm hoping and praying that July is just as grand!!

June happened to be a busy month for me and my children. Two of them graduated, one from middle school and one from high school, and we celebrate every milestone around here. It was a big deal LOL. I'm so excited for the new chapters my daughters will face. One will be starting high school, one will be starting university, and one will be finishing her last year of university. I'm so proud of my girls!!

Okay so back to all the books. My June reading was as follows...

Stats

Total Books Read: 22
Total Pages Read: 6643
Genres: Contemporary (14), Paranormal (7), Dark Romance (1)
From my TBR: 10
Avg. Rating: 3.90

All the Books

There were a lot of standouts this month. I was pleasantly surprised by how many books I fell in love with.

The other books I read and would recommend were:

I'll Just Date Myself by Lani Lynn Vale
Superbia by Colette Rhodes

Added to my tbr

Book Haul

Once again, I bought nothing. Aside from the few books I borrowed from the Kindle Unlimited library, I've kept my wallet closed. I hope I can continue this trend for the foreseeable future.

I hope we find only the best reads in June!

Talk soon,

xo, Natalie

  1. Congratulations to you and your daughters! That is fantastic. We have junior high in our district, so my daughter is moving on to high school this year as well. It feels crazy how fast they grow up! But also exciting. Good luck to both your girls on their next steps! And you did have a great reading month! That's awesome!

    1. Congrats to your daughter too! Who told our babies that they could grow up?! I'm only partly joking because while I cherish their childhood memories, I'm excited to see them grow :)
