My Top Ten Most Anticipated Releases for the Second Half of 2020

June 30, 2020

To be honest... I was (and am) in no way prepared to do this list justice. I'm probably going to add to this list, maybe switch things around. Who really knows? The following releases are ones I've been looking forward to and I hope I'm able to read them this year (in no particular order)!
1. The Beginning of Everything by Kristen Ashley 🡪 it's been quite some time since I've read a book from KA. This is the first book in a brand new series, The Rising, and it's in the fantasy genre.
Publication Date: July 7, 2020

2. The Damned by Renee Ahdieh 🡪 I added this book to my TBR because I always intended to read the first book of the series, The Beautiful. I figure if I have this book staring me in the face, I just might hurry up and pick up book one.
Publication Date: July 7, 2020

3. Vixen by Rebecca Zanetti 🡪 a) it's the Dark Protector series, which I FLOVE! and b) it's Rebecca Zanetti. I can't get enough of this series and look forward to each and every release. It doesn't hurt that it's part of the 1001 Dark Nights, publications that I live to collect!
Publication Date: August 11, 2020

4. Fable by Adrienne Young 🡪 I think I'm one of the few YA fans who hasn't read anything from this author. When I saw she was coming out with a new duology, I thought it would be a great way to be introduced to her work. Wish me luck!
Publication Date: September 1, 2020

5. Say It Ain't So by Lani Lynn Vale 🡪 I think everyone knows that I'm a huge fan of LLV's books. I'm in love with her heroes, the comfortable feel of her stories, and the bits of suspense she throws in to stir things up. Her books are just so easy to read and some of my go-tos when I'm in a book slump. The blurb of this one really caught my eye and I'm excited to read it.
Publication Date: September 8, 2020

6. The Glass Queen by Gena Showalter 🡪 after reading The Evil Queen and finding it an incredibly twisted retelling, I found myself looking forward to the next installment. The last one was a Snow White (Maleficent) retelling and this one seems to be giving us Cinderella.
Publication Date: September 29, 2020

7. Dark Song by Christine Feehan 🡪 I'm new to the worlds created by Christine Feehan, but from what I've read, I'm a huge fan. The cost of the pre-order for this book is RIDICULOUS ($13.99US) and I'm hoping it gets cut drastically come release day.
Publication Date: September 1, 2020

8. Lead Me Back by CD Reiss 🡪 a) it's CD Reiss and for the most part, I've enjoyed what I've read from her, b) Hollywood romance, c) bad boy, and d) secrets. Count me in!
Publication Date: July 7, 2020

9. Guardian's Grace by Rebecca Zanetti 🡪 like I said above... it's the Dark Protectors series
Publication Date: October 13, 2020

10. The Princess Knight by G.A. Aiken 🡪 after reading and loving The Blacksmith Queen, I need to know what happens next in Keely's quest. This book seems to be told from her sister, Gemma's, perspective, which is cool because she was a badass War Monk.
Publication Date: November 24, 2020

Have any of these books made it to your list? What books are you looking forward to reading this year?
