ARC Review: FORGET YOU, ETHAN by Whitney G.

Forget You, Ethan by Whitney G.
Keep your friends close and your enemies closer...

I've hated Rachel Dawson since I was seven years old. My next door neighbor and number one sworn enemy, she's the reason why almost all of our childhood fights ended with me setting something of hers on fire. (Or, vice versa.)

She snitched on me when I broke curfew.

I snitched on her when she lied about having a boyfriend.

We went back and forth like this throughout high school, both vowing to never talk to each other again when we went off to college.

But that was until she showed up at my apartment during my senior year and asked me for a temporary place to stay. Until I realized just how much between us had changed, and the line I thought we'd never cross became harder and harder to ignore...

**This is a standalone friends (to enemies) to lovers romance**

MY REVIEW

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This story was about so much more than I expected. I knew that it would be full of good banter, angst, and sexy times. But I could in no way have predicted the scope of it all. The banter was amazing, but what really got me going was the fake animosity between the characters.

I freaking hated Rachel!! But I think that was the point... right? She was petty, abrasive, and delusional. I thought it was funny each time she was confronted by the fact that she had no friends and I cheered when she finally admitted to lying to make herself appear 'better'. What bothered me the most about her was how underneath all the nonsense she did, she was a good person and her life would have been ten times more satisfying if she showed THAT face to the world.

I freaking loved Ethan!! Yes, he was a jerk to Rachel, but really, when you stop to think about it, everything he did was in retaliation of her foolishness. And honestly, I was ecstatic whenever he put her in her place. He went above and beyond for this girl, showed her time and time again that he had her back, and she kept throwing it back in his face. I was surprised that he even kept putting up with her ish and I loved him for it.

Be prepared for childish antics, bitter grudges, a girl refusing to grow the hell up, and a hot AF guy who just might be the key to her redemption.
