Son of the Cursed Bear
Bounty Hunter, Nox Fuller, has been challenged to do the impossible. He’s supposed to bring the Red Dragon in for a year long stint in shifter prison, but this job could be the death of him. His focus should be on the hunt, but when he meets a shy shifter named Nevada, he can’t help but be distracted by the curvy beauty. He doesn’t care that she has trouble speaking to people. He’s different too. But as he finds out exactly what kind of shifter he’s falling for, he realizes he’s in way over his head. Stuck between a war with the local crew, and the fire-breathing Red Dragon, Nox has to tread very carefully. Too bad he’s the least careful bear shifter in existence. It’s not just his safety at risk as he hunts Vyr though. The closer he gets to the dragon, the more danger he and Nevada are both in.
Nevada Foxburg has a life full of secrets. One chance meeting with a feral grizzly shifter from Damon’s Mountains puts not only her at risk, but her people too. They’re doomed from the start, and she’s supposed to pair up with a shifter like her, but Nox is wild, battle-hardened, funny, sexy-as-sin, and too interesting for his own good. He makes life fun, and keeps her on her toes. But he’s got secrets too, and when she finds out he’s in her hometown hunting the most dangerous creature on earth, she has to make a choice. Stay safe deep in the sanctuary of her crew, or risk her life to have Nox’s back.
The first thing that grabbed me about this book was the humour. Being inside Nox's head had me laughing so hard at times, I was breathless. Dude had a particular way of looking at things, at handling things, and his brute strength had me fawning over him. No wonder Nevada couldn't resist him, despite the drama her attraction to him would bring.

Son of Kong
Torren Taylor has a gorilla problem. The birthmark on his back says he is supposed to be the new Kong, but he wants nothing to do with his people. Shunning their traditions means his silverback is out of control and on a one-way track to crazy-town. He accepted his shortened life a long time ago, but right now all he wants to do is live long enough to for a couple last bucket list items. When a rare beauty shows up at his door and offers to keep his animal steady for two hundred bucks a week, well, he’s mighty tempted to pay to prolong his life. Especially if it means spending time with Candace, who seems to have a knack for calming dominant men. She’s a good girl gone bad, and he wants to corrupt her even further. But something’s brewing against his crew, and drawing her in closer will put her at risk. And now Torren is torn on one important decision: be selfish and live longer, or shorten Candace’s life with the danger building around the Sons of Beasts.
Candace Sumner needs a change. She’s back in Foxburg paying off big debts and taking desperate measures to do so. She had to give up her dreams to come back to her hometown, and now she wants a break from the monotony. And maybe a friend or two wouldn’t hurt either. An offer to keep a local silverback shifter steady sounds like an adventure, but when she sees Torren for the first time, her plans at aloofness are squashed. He is the type of man who is the perfect combination of sweet and deadly that could finally make her feel safe in her life. Too bad he’s going crazy, and his crew could go down in flames at any second.
Candace wanted an adventure, but she didn’t bargain for love, betrayal, and a group of the worst-best friends a shifter like her could ask for.
Unlike the first book, Torren's story had more of a serious overtone. It still had plenty of humour, but Torren was having trouble controlling his beast and his struggle was featured very heavily in this story. I loved the depth the author gave this character. I had wondered why he was so loyal to the 'destructive dragon' and what was hiding beneath his surface and I was given those answers and so much more. Candace was a welcome addition to the shenanigans of this crew and I was thrilled that even Torren, who thought he was at his end, had found his person.

Son of the Dragon
Deep in a high security shifter prison dwells the most dangerous shifter in the world. Vyr Daye is the Red Dragon, alpha to the Sons of Beasts Crew, loner, watcher, fire-breather…and he’s also completely misunderstood. The media has dragged him through the mud, his reputation is shot, and his own father helped to put him in prison for a one-year sentence. Only this prison isn’t what it seems and he’s fighting to keep his dragon alive. All he needs to do is keep steady for six more months and then he can live his life as quietly as possible with his crew, but one sexy, fast-talking prison counselor saunters in and wrecks his focus. Riyah isn’t what she seems, but no one can sense her powers besides Vyr. He’ll keep her secrets if she keeps his. And as the dragon inside of him starts losing his battle, he’ll need her help to gather his crew and pull him from the brink before it’s too late. And the more he gets to know the beguiling woman, the more he thinks she’s here for more important reasons than even he understands.
Riyah Mercer has been hired to infiltrate the shifter prison and watch Vyr’s back. He doesn’t trust her, but he doesn’t realize she is his only friend here. She can see him struggling, and can see the dragon fading. As she starts falling hard for the stoic man, she becomes determined to do anything to save him. But saving the dragon means unleashing his fire on the world, and that’s not the only danger Riyah is in. There are eyes everywhere in the prison and they are creating something monstrous down in the cell where they keep the Red Dragon. If she is caught helping the man she’s falling in love with, it could mean the end for them both.
Vyr Daye is the reason these characters were brought together and without him, they're broken. Their leader is in prison so what does the crew do? Well, they go in after him. Vyr is so much more than what he seemed in the previous books and I loved getting to really know him in this story. The author did an amazing job of highlighting his strengths and his vulnerabilities and his love interest, Riyah, was the perfect complement to both the beast and the man. Again, this book gave me tons of humour, tons of fun, and I'll definitely be reading more.

Engineer Trishara Malik once dreamed of being the first woman of color to smash the glass ceiling at WMC Purcell, but after years of dealing with white male privilege and blatant nepotism, she watches her hard-earned promotion go to her nemesis, Rafe Gallagher—the boss’s son. Teetering on the edge of burnout, Tris is stunned when she’s picked to attend WMC's corporate leadership retreat in Hawaii. It’s a chance to revive her stalled career and compete for a coveted spot in an executive training program—plus, three weeks in paradise! The only downside? Rafe is her co-attendee.
Tris plans to avoid Rafe entirely, but when she arrives in Maui, a booking error has them stuck sharing the honeymoon suite. Sure, it’s not all torture. Rafe is a smoldering ten—okay fine, an eleven—but after years of competition, they can barely stand being in the same time zone. As they vie against each other during aptitude tests and team-building exercises, Tris begins to realize Rafe might not be the villain after all. With her dreams at stake, can she learn to trust the man who might have been standing in her corner all along?

Who knew?
Seriously, you know an author can WRITE when they can switch genres and still push out a banger.
The enemies to lovers trope isn't my favourite, but the vulnerability of these characters won me over. From the start, Tris and Rafe had a spark, but she outed it before it had a chance to flourish. Instead they seemed to enjoy a constant game of one-upmanship in order to deny the chemistry that continued to grow between them.
Throw in a work trip, one room and one bed, and the undeniable becomes something hard to reject. Tris sees the truth of all that is Rafe, demolishing the image she had composed of him, illustrating all that was good in this man. And he finally had the chance to see her in a new light as well. No more walls, no more denials, and Tris was forced to see the real Rafe and how compatible they were.
I loved that the author didn't make this relationship easy. There was plenty of angst and I was kept on my toes as to whether these two would even end up together. And that workplace drama... oooh, those microagressions could have been worse, I'm sure. As a woman of colour, I know the negative part of the corporate world all too well, but I'm pleased with the way that Tris handled all of it, even when she was just going along to get along.
Rafe was my favourite character and Tuli described him in such a delicious way. How am I supposed to resist a hero like him???

Mason Asher always gets what he wants, for his clients and for himself, except when it comes to love. He can seamlessly fulfill their fantasies, but not his own, until he sees Harper. Now Mason won't give up until both of their desires are met.
**This is a hot, steamy, sexy and seductive romance series that is ideal for fans of J.S. Scott, Cassie Cross and Hannah Ford.**
The premise of this series is what really intrigued me. The storyline was great and was written so well that I was convinced that Patti from Millionaire Matchmaker (or someone with similar characteristics) was going to make a cameo appearance. No such luck lol. However, I didn't really connect to the plot. The pacing, for one, didn't make it realistic to me. It was hard for me to accept that Jake, the man who told Harper not to let the door hit her on the way out, then became so obsessed with her as to stalk her and assault Mason. I wasn't sold on this idea. Also, I got upset with the way that Harper grouped Mason in with guys like Jake. He only omitted his last name and the fact that he was wealthy. And any fool would have put two and two together. She should have been mad with herself. On top of that, when she suspected he may have been hurt, she did nothing!! Not cool!! Why was she calling anyone else but him????
In the end, it was a good story with huge potential to be great!
Dual POV | secrets | stalker

Four interconnected tales for readers who like their fairy tale retellings with an adorable happily ever after and a side of serious steaminess!
Beauty and the Goblin King-- They say the Goblin King will give a gold coin for every night a girl spends with him. I shouldn't be intrigued. Everyone whispered about him. But when my father lost his money, all my wonderings came true.
These Wicked Revels-- If I give my mask away, will I belong to the fairy king forever? A retelling of the Twelve Dancing Princesses!
Rapunzel and the Dark Prince-- It gets pretty lonely, spending your entire life in a tower. The Witch told me she was keeping me safe from a dangerous world. But one day, when I let down my hair, the Witch wasn't the one to climb up.
The Beggar Princess-- As the only princess of a prosperous kingdom, I have wanted for nothing--and refused all suitors. The lastthing I expected was for my mild-mannered father to insist I marry the next man who walks in the door, even if he's apeasant...and what do you know? But maybe he's not what he seems. A retelling of King Thrushbeard.
My Favorite Story: Rapunzel and the Dark Prince. I gave it 4 stars!
Rapunzel was used to a lonely life, high up in her tower. Her only company was the witch who isolated her. She amused herself with cleaning, making clothes, braiding and unbraiding her hair, talking to the birds, and reading children's books. Prince Dorin is a darkling, tail and all. He's looking for his bond mate and she happens to be Rapunzel. They mate and bond and she talks a lot and not only was their relationship funny and sweet and hot, but it felt natural to me. I only wish their story was longer!
The other stories include: ✦ Beauty and the Goblin King (4 stars) - Sabela was the youngest sisters, the one called 'Beauty'. When her family's circumstances change for the worst, they ask her to sacrifice herself for them. Years ago, the Goblin King sent out a message - Any young, unmarried woman willing to come to his castle would receive one gold piece for every night she spent there. Seeing as Sabela was fascinated with the King anyway, she didn't see the big deal. And when she finally met him, she knew there was more to him and his story than first perceived. There was a curse and she was determined to break it. ✦ These Wicked Revels (3 stars) - Evaline was the youngest with eleven sisters, the daughter of a pious and stern queen, and she was desperate for a bit of freedom. When her last sister is married off, she tells Eva "Never give your mask away." It takes years for Eva to understand what she meant. Eva was naive and foolish and rebellious and everything you'd expect of someone held virtually prisoner in her kingdom. She knew nothing of fun and the King of the Revels brought her into a world filled with music and dancing and laughter and ease. She never wanted to leave and the King never wanted to let her go. Her sexuality was awakening and he couldn't wait to take advantage. Too bad Will, the cobbler in her kingdom, insisted on standing in the way. I really liked Will. He was a broken hero, a disillusioned soldier, and I only wished that Evaline was a better woman for him. ✦ The Beggar Princess (3 stars) - While not as funny as my favorite of this series, this story was still pretty great. Princess Bethany questioned a woman's role in society. She didn't think that just because she happened to be born female that she should be forced to conform to societal norms. She would not marry. She would continue to write novels that tantalized the realms. She would choose how she would live because that was her right. She was spoiled, entitled, rude and unappreciative. Her father, the very man who created her this way, had finally had enough and stated that she would wed. After gathering all the eligible bachelors and having her turn them all away with outright impertinence and discourtesy, he tells her that she will marry the very next man who comes in. And that's what happens. While Bethany thinks Jack is a simple basket weaver and that she's destined for a life of poverty, we all know that he's actually King Brennus, the ruler of a prosperous kingdom. He's determined to teach his princess some humility and after many lessons, one of which was unplanned and downright scary, she did and all was better for it. I really enjoyed this tale!
I loved how the author took these classic tales and gave them her own unique twists. They were sexy and twisted and absolutely lovely, satisfying this retelling fan completely!
There are way more books in this series and I'll definitely be reading them at some point.
