And while some people won't ever like a book like this, the author made it work for those of us that do take the chance on it.Natalie @ The Biblioholichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13171481042230271798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5400712249151844920.post-52358724299587024192022-03-20T00:01:45.687-04:002022-03-20T00:01:45.687-04:00So glad you took a chance on this one and you enjo...So glad you took a chance on this one and you enjoyed most of it!! There's definitely a forbidden line and not everyone is going to like this book but for the most part, it was really good and we got to see how their relationship affected their loved ones and it wasn't covered up. I love your review and it was beautifully done❤❤Sonya- Chatterbooks book blog https://www.blogger.com/profile/08265743507704736616noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5400712249151844920.post-71910700832680321592022-03-17T16:15:17.533-04:002022-03-17T16:15:17.533-04:00Thanks Renee! 💞

Incesty books have worked for me (I'm thinking of The Wild by K Webster), but it depends on the circumstances surrounding the situation. I know this author writes some good books (I have read one that didn't work out for me) but I will need to explore some of her other works. I struggle with the step sibling stuff though, I can only do it if they didn't grow up together. (Lisa Renee Jones for example has a great trilogy that works for me and doesn't feel incesty for me haha ) Lover Of Romancehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06815249440754171341noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5400712249151844920.post-12647767618844545222022-03-15T16:05:50.093-04:002022-03-15T16:05:50.093-04:00Yup. And I have to admit, I was grossed out, because regardless of the fact that they weren't blood related, they were family. I have step-family who are family no matter our blood ties or lack thereof. So them, their offspring, etc. are completely off limits. However, to read this and actually enjoy it, I had to turn my brain off. Forget the logic. Otherwise I couldn't touch it.

It's the same way I feel about step-brother books. Unless they're newly related, meaning they didn't grow up together, I can't do it. It's way too close to home!Natalie @ The Biblioholichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13171481042230271798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5400712249151844920.post-8200161329589235972022-03-14T11:38:12.284-04:002022-03-14T11:38:12.284-04:00I don't think I could read this book. Actually...I don't think I could read this book. Actually, I know I couldn't. I am adopted. I cannot imagine feeling anything other than sibling feelings for an adoptive relative -- especially one I was raised with. My sister is my sister. My parents are my parents. My cousins, uncles, aunts, etc. are all people I have been raised with as being my family and I can't imagine feeling anything more than related to them. I can't imagine my daughter falling in love with her cousin even though they're not blood related. I mean, I guess it's all possible, but it makes me cringe in the same way I would if it was an incestual romance. That's just me, though!Deanna @ A Novel Glimpsehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08527505715939357796noreply@blogger.com
