Down the TBR Hole was originally created by Lost in a Story! The point of it is to help cull your reading lists down, or maybe push higher anticipated releases up on your TBR! And maybe you all can help me along the way, and tell me if you’ve loved or hated any of these!

How it works:
➽ Go to your Goodreads to-read shelf.
➽ Order on ascending date added.
➽ Take the first 5 (or 10 if you’re feeling adventurous) books - I do about 15-20 because my list is HUGE
➽ Read the synopses of the books
➽ Decide: keep it or should it go?

Turbulence: The Epilogue (Turbulence #1.5) by Whitney G.
Avg rating: 4.26/Release: October 19, 2016

I loved Jake. Seriously, I think he was the one that made me coin the term 'alphahole' and he was the epitome of that type of man. So reading more of him wouldn't be a hardship.
Verdict: Keep
Keepsake (True North #3) by Sarina Bowen
Avg rating: 4.24/Release: October 25, 2016

I'm not sure if I've ever read anything from this author before but I do know I've always been interested. After seeing tons of reviews for her books, I kinda want to join the fandom. I'm assured that this can be read as a standalone.
Verdict: Keep
Mr. President (White House #1) by Katy Evans
Avg rating: 4.13/Release: October 31, 2016

I'm going to be honest... I haven't loved a book from this author since I met Remy. 🙅 I know, it's terrible. But every subsequent book I pick up of hers, I expect to love it just the same and it never happens. So while I want to try again, I'm scared. Pray for me.
Verdict: Keep
Deviant by Natasha Knight
Avg rating: 3.82/Release: July 7, 2015

Although this book got some mixed reviews from my GR friends, I'm still gonna read it. Why? Because I haven't met a book by Natasha Knight that I didn't like. So there!
Verdict: Keep
Biker's Law by Jordan Silver
Avg rating: 3.97/Release: November 2, 2016

Another author I'm not sure I've read from before. I haven't read a ton of biker romance so I guess I'll read it and see if A) I still like this subgenre and B) I can find another author to add to my must-read list.
Verdict: Keep
All & Nothing (Broadway #1) by Alissa York
Avg rating: 4.18/Release: November 7, 2016

I'm not sure why I added this one because the blurb isn't really grabbing me. However, even if I wanted to read it, it seems to have been discontinued on Amazon. Maybe it's available from another vendor if you're interested.
Verdict: Delete
More Than Friends (Friends #2) by Monica Murphy
Avg rating: 3.71/Release: November 28, 2016

Her boyfriend cheated with her best friend and she's ditched them both. Now the most popular boy in school wants her and she wants him too. Yay!!
Verdict: Keep
A Love Letter to Whiskey by Kandi Steiner
Avg rating: 4.32/Release: September 25, 2016

This was one of those books that everyone and their mama read and that they all recommended to me. I haven't tried this author before so what the heck. Let's see what all the fuss is about, shall we?
Verdict: Keep
Smuttily Ever After anthology
Avg rating: 4.57/Release: November 29, 2016

I remember being really intrigued with this anthology. It's a bunch of short smut stories written by bloggers just like us.
Verdict: Keep
Torch (Devils Souls MC #1) by LeAnn Ashers
Avg rating: 3.91/Release: December 8, 2016

I read the second book of the series, Techy, and really liked it so figured I should get to know these people better by starting at the beginning. The entire series has received new covers, but I think I still prefer the originals.
Verdict: Keep
Zero Hour (Gypsy Brothers #8) by Lili St. Germain
Avg rating: 4.26/Release: November 24, 2015

I freaking loved this series. I cringed with every interaction Juliette had with Dornan, but I was probably one of the loudest cheering for her and Jase. I've seen these two since, but I'm so happy for the opportunity to see this happy ending.
Verdict: Keep
Josh & Anna and Gabe & Claire by Eliza Freed
Avg rating: 4.02/Release: November 15, 2016

I'll admit that I added this based on the rave reviews I read from my GR friends. But now that I've taken a second look (and looked at some unfavorable reviews), I've realized that I'm probably going to hate the heroine and it would ruin the experience. So... no.
Verdict: Delete
Killmore (Killmore #1) by Martha Sweeney
Avg rating: 4.46/Release: November 15, 2016

I've had quite a few of my friends recommend this one to me. I've read the blurb and it sounds right up my alley. I hope it turns out to be as good as it seems.
Verdict: Keep
Escaping Mr Right by Avril Tremayne
Avg rating: 4.31/Release: January 17, 2016

This one comes highly recommended by my GR boo, Bibi. If you know anything about her, she doesn't love easily so this one must be a winner. I hope I fall in love with it too.
Verdict: Keep
Complex Kisses (Here & Now #1) by Kim Bailey
Avg rating: 3.94/Release: December 29, 2016

I don't even know how this ended up on my TBR. But after reading a review from a blogger I trust, I figure it's worth a shot.
Verdict: Keep
Southern Desire (Southern Heart #2) by Kaylee Ryan
Avg rating: 4.38/Release: January 17, 2017

I'm going to trust the words of my GR friend, Eve, and give this one a pass. Lack of chemistry and a tedious plot just don't spell winner for me.
Verdict: Delete
Hold My Breath by Ginger Scott
Avg rating: 4.11/Release: November 18, 2016

This one keeps popping up as a recommendation on both GR and Amazon and I've been hesitating on starting it. However, with the cover and all, I'm gonna try it ;)
Verdict: Keep
All The Dead Girls (Graveyard Falls #3) by Rita Herron
Avg rating: 4.24/Release: November 22, 2016

This thriller by a new-to-me author has caught my eye and I'm finding it hard to look away. The heroine is the survivor of a serial killer and the hero is the son of the man charged with the crime. He's the sheriff and new murders put these two together. Interesting!
Verdict: Keep
Pulling Her Trigger (Ghost Riders MC #1) by Alexa Riley
Avg rating: 3.77/Release: June 29, 2015

I don't even care what it's about. It's AR, the girl's holding a gun, and I'm sure it's hot AF. I'm in!!!
Verdict: Keep
Vice by Callie Hart
Avg rating: 4.19/Release: November 22, 2016

It's Callie Hart. There isn't a book out there right now by this woman that I won't read.
Verdict: Keep

I wish I could stop everything I'm doing and read these books now. I have so many books to catch up on. Where the heck am I supposed to find the dang time? Any suggestions?

So have any of these books made it to your lists? Thoughts?

Until next time... Happy Reading! xoxo
