Down the TBR Hole was originally created by Lost in a Story! The point of it is to help cull your reading lists down, or maybe push higher anticipated releases up on your TBR! And maybe you all can help me along the way, and tell me if you’ve loved or hated any of these!

How it works:
➽ Go to your Goodreads to-read shelf.
➽ Order on ascending date added.
➽ Take the first 5 (or 10 if you’re feeling adventurous) books - I do about 15-20 because my list is HUGE
➽ Read the synopses of the books
➽ Decide: keep it or should it go?

Three is a War (Tangled Lies #3) by Pam Godwin
Avg rating: 4.17/Release: August 29, 2017

The same reason for why I won't read the first two books of this series exists for this one. I say NO to love triangles. My heart just can't take it. Maybe one day.
Verdict: delete

One Night (Lighter Ones #3) by Aleatha Romig
Avg rating: 3.95/Release: September 5, 2017

I think I have the previous books on my TBR and I've got the first book on my kindle. The cover is HOT and I look forward to a lighter read from this author.
Verdict: keep

The Game (The ICON Trilogy #2) by Vanessa Fewings
Avg rating: 4.24/Release: August 29, 2017

I don't think I've read from this author before, but I've heard some great things so I added the first book of the trilogy to my TBR. I'm not sure why I have this book on there too.

Pulled Under (Walker Security #2) by Lisa Renee Jones
Avg rating: 4.32/Release: February 15, 2018

I'm not sure why this one is still sitting on my TBR. I've already read and reviewed it so I've got to fix this. Have you read LRJ?
Verdict: fix

Damaged (Sins and Secret Series of Duets #3) by Willow Winters
Avg rating: 4.20/Release: November 14, 2017

I haven't read the previous books of the series so reading this wouldn't make sense. This author's books are hit or miss for me and I hope I like the books I intend to read.
Verdict: delete

Fated (Pyte/Sentinel #5) by R.L. Mathewson
Avg rating: 4.13/Release: March 26, 2016

Have you tried this series? I LOVE it!! It's full of action, love, laughs, and the paranormal. There's just something about this author's writing that really speaks to me. She's still one of my favorites!
Verdict: keep

Most Likely to Score (Ballers and Babes #2) by Lauren Blakely
Avg rating: 4.15/Release: January 8, 2018

First of all, it's Lauren Blakely. Second, it's classed as a forbidden romance, which is like asking me to resist chocolate. IMPOSSIBLE!!
Verdict: keep

Show Me the Way (Fight For Me #1) by A.L. Jackson
Avg rating: 4.14/Release: September 6, 2017

I've loved everything I've read from this author and I'm sure I'll love this too. She just has an amazing way with words. No question. Anyhoo, this is a single dad romance and those... like cake, my friend!
Verdict: keep

Malachi and I by J.J. McAvoy
Avg rating: 3.80/Release: September 27, 2017

This romance sounds like something unlike anything I've ever read before and I'm always up for something different. When it's by an author I've given such high praise too, how can I pass it up?
Verdict: keep

Heartbreaker by Logan Chance
Avg rating: 4.33/Release: October 31, 2017

I've enjoyed quite a few books from this author and this one drew my attention because of the cover. I cannot lie. That cover is delicious. So it's sitting on my kindle, waiting to grab my attention again.
Verdict: keep

Wicked Dirty (Stark World #2) by J. Kenner
Avg rating: 4.11/Release: September 19, 2017

Hmmm... a fake engagement romance story. Anyone else love these? A Hollywood actor and a struggling waitress. Sounds familiar, but I'm sure Kenner will give it her own unique twist.
Verdict: keep

Crank (The Gibson Boys #1) by Adriana Locke
Avg rating: 4.19/Release: November 8, 2017

Woo hoo!! A fender bender full of lust! Adriana never fails to entertain me and I can't wait to start this series of hers.
Verdict: keep

Misadventures of a Good Wife (Misadventures #6) by Meredith Wild & Helen Hardt
Avg rating: 3.82/Release: October 3, 2017

I'm not sure how I feel about this one. It's about a couple in love, one of them dies, she's grieving, and then he turns up alive. I'm sure there's a lot more to it, but I wonder if I'll love it?
Verdict: keep

Pitch Dark by A.M. Wilson & Alex Grayson
Avg rating: 4.32/Release: September 15, 2017

This story sounds incredibly dark and delicious and I HAVE to read it. I have no choice. It's calling to me and I need to get to it soon.

Destined to Crave (Descended of Guardians #1) by Setta Jay
Avg rating: 4.08/Release: August 18, 2017

I've never read from this author before, but I've heard such great things about this novella that I had to add it. I have to read it. I'm just not sure if I should read it before I read the series it's a spin-off from, Guardians of the Realms. I might start there and get to this one in time.
Verdict: keep

Hard Justice (Alpha Security #3) by April Hunt
Avg rating: 4.14/Release: August 29, 2017

I've never heard of this author before, but the blurb really caught my attention. A female operative, her male counterpart, and fake relationship for their undercover mission. I hope it's hot!!
Verdict: keep

Lethal Lies (Blood Brothers #2) by Rebecca Zanetti
Avg rating: 4.15/Release: October 31, 2017

I actually purchased three books (including this one) of the series and I can't wait to dive in. There's just something with the way this author writes that grabs me every single time. I've enjoyed everything I've read from her and I'm sure I'll love this too.
Verdict: keep

Can't Let Go (The Original Heartbreakers #5) by Gena Showalter
Avg rating: 4.03/Release: October 31, 2017

Why didn't I know that Gena Showalter writes books other than paranormal romance? I'm not well versed with this author, but I have enjoyed some of her books. So this one, listed as a standalone in the series, I'm willing to try. It's about a widower, which can be a crap shoot. Fingers crossed.
Verdict: keep

In Pieces (Something More #4) by Danielle Pearl
Avg rating: 4.08/Release: October 10, 2017

I loved the first three books of this series. It was young/new adult romance at its finest. Full of angst, youthful passion, and life-altering love. I've got In Ruins and this book sitting on my bookshelves, so I'll get to it at some point. It's a best friend's sister romance, a trope I love 😍
Verdict: keep

The Heiress by Cassia Leo
Avg rating: 3.75/Release: September 26, 2017

I remember adding this because I've enjoyed this author before and 'hey, she has a new book', so on my list it went. The title has been changed to Her Guardian and the blurb isn't really speaking to me. Honestly, I was bored already.
