The theme for the December OwlCrate was the Power of Illusions
It included:
✫ an amazingly scented candle inspired by The Lunar Chronicles

✫ a pretty magnet inspired by The Night Circus (I need to get this book!)
✫ a colorful tote bag (not pictured because I've already started using it) inspired by Legend from Caraval and Legendary
✫ a new reading planner, which I was crossing my fingers that I'd get this year
✫ an exclusive preview of King of Fools by Amanda Foody. I've never heard of this book but I figure I'll get an idea from this brief glimpse
✫ a signed copy of Amber & Dusk by Lyra Selene, which includes an author letter and a book-inspired necklace

I haven't read any of these books but a few of them are currently sitting on my TBR so I'm glad to have them. I also look forward to reading the new-to-me authors, who are Harms, Farlow and Cummings. That is one of the best things about this box - finding new authors!
I'm sad because I'll have to skip the January box. There's too much going on and as a single mom, sometimes ever dollar counts. But I'll still be getting the other boxes so stay tuned.

December's Mystic Box was all about B.B. Reid and it included:

Although I've already read and loved these books, this only makes it better for me to receive them. Now I can add this beloved story to my bookshelves. I'll be sharing them with everyone I know and forcing suggesting they read them. I don't mean read my copies of course. Those are not to be touched by outside hands!!
